Каждые 2 или 3 года МИТ в сотрудничестве с центрами в выбранном городе проводит основное событие: Всемирный Конгресс МИТ, на который собираются члены МИТ со всего мира. Конгресс состоит из 4 частей:

1) Художественная часть с выступлениями и международными проектами
2) Образовательная часть с проведением презентаций, семинаров, мастер-классов, конференций, круглых столов и т.п.
3) Гуманитарная часть с семинарами, презентациями и проектами
4) Официальная часть с генеральной ассамблеей, собрания комитетов, сетей, форумов и проектных групп

The International Theatre Institute ITI is pleased to announce that the 36th ITI World Congress will happen onsite from 20-25 February 2023 in Fujairah in the United Arab Emirates. The event will be hosted and co-organized by the Fujairah Government, with the support from H.H. Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Ruler of Fujairah and the Supreme Council Member of UAE, and H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah. The 36th ITI World Congress will be under the patronage of UNESCO.

The theme of the 36th ITI World Congress:
“Reunite, for the Performing Arts and Humanism”.
