In 2008 the Italian Centre organized a Regional Council for all the countries of the Mediterranean. Members of Croatia, Cyprus, France, Greece, Israel, Palestine, Italy, Syria, Slovenia, Spain, etc. attended the meeting and presented in a conference the cultural diversity that these countries have. It was a gathering that used culture and the performing arts as a bridge, one of the missions of ITI. The General Secretariat of ITI is about to evaluate the possibility of a revival of this Regional Council, in connection with the Centres of this regions.
