iSTAN, the International Stage Art Network, is a joint venture between the International Theatre Institute ITI and the Central Academy of Drama CAD Beijing.

iSTAN is a network that concentrates on the artistic values of the stage arts and innovation in the stage arts.

With its activities, such as competitions, exhibitions, workshops, lectures, master classes, and publications it intends to inspire both beginners and professionals of the stage arts.

iSTAN is an international non-profit association. For the organization and the administration of its activities the founders of iSTAN, the International Theatre Institute ITI and the Central Academy of Drama CAD, have put together an office in the Stage Art Department of CAD, and have also set-up an international board for the network.

iSTAN offers different membership categories, all free of charge.

The 1st iSTAN World Stage Art Summit was held in Beijing, China last October 2016.
