University Theatre of Cultures
The idea for creating a University of the Theatre of Cultures is based on the goals of the UNESCO Convention on the Protection and the Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions. Our world possesses such a wealth of local cultures that need to be protected, promoted, and put into dialogue with one another in order to benefit from each other’s wisdom, to evolve or undergo innovation. The University Theatre of Cultures will be a permanent structure with a space for classrooms, studios, a library, a multimedia center and performing arts stages. Students can train in theatre techniques, study theatre history and conduct research. What is special is that it is a centre for international studies. Postgraduate students from all over the world will have the ability to work with masters in theatre culture from all over the world –
