The network of the International Theatre Institute is one of the largest and most important in its field.

The main pillars of the network are the Centres, Cooperating Members, Regional Offices and Committees.

Its most important events are the Congress, the festival “Theatre of Nations” and the University of the Theatre of Nations. An important partner in this network is the ITI/UNESCO Chair “Theatre and Culture of Civilisation” which is particularly active in the field of tertiary level theatre education.
