Planned Activities 2014-2016

1) During their global summits, or a tailor made event for the purpose, CULTURAL ATTACHES AND MINISTERS OF ARTS representing governments of the world, must be approached to make a space available for the ITI Mono-drama network to provide them with well conceived mono-drama performances that will impact on their appreciation and understanding of the valuable positions they occupy in global society, by making intimate connections with the power of such performance and performers - as audience and in workshop dialogues post performance. (Kurt Egelhof)
2) Research and elaborate on the idea of having Monodrama shows in museums, moving away from traditional theatre spaces and towards an immersive experience for the audience (Jeong Ok Kim)
3) Organize workshops on the theme of the autobiography.
The most important solo artists who have used autobiographical material in their performances were, most of them, marginalized people. By coming to the centre of the scene, they were able to resist, define their reality and shape a new future. We will therefore try to help those interested, find a way to better create, organize and promote such shows.
