Communication Committee of ITI – Com Com
The ComCom is the ITI Committee that deals with publications and communications. It studies the role of media communication in promoting theatre, and also edits publications such as ITI‘s biennial volume of «The World of Theatre» in English, French and Arabic.

Projects 2011-2013
- On 3rd November 2011 a representative of ComCom will join the ENICPA (European Network of Information Centres for the Performing Arts) annual conference to be held in Berlin, Germany. The members of ComCom will be invited to follow the meeting through Skype.
- To promote the concept of documenting theatre, a ComCom meeting will be held in Dhaka in February 2012, during the International Theatre festival to be organized by the ITI Bangladesh Centre. SIBMAS will be informed of the project and we shall ask for its support.
- In 2012, ComCom will also organize a video conference on the theme of documenting and archiving theatre, highlighting the issue as well as presenting practical methods.
- A seminar could be organized by the Archives and the Musée de la Litterature (Brussels) in 2013 with the participation of ComCom on the theme of “Theatre after the end of colonization”.
- The next edition of the “World of Theatre” will be published on the occasion of the 34rd ITI World Congress incorporating three theatre seasons: 2009-2010, 2010-2011 and 2011-2012. Cooperation of all ITI Centers is solicited.
