Brave Kids Festival
The Polish Association “Song of the Goat Theater” - organizer of the Brave Festival will present its greatest achievements in promoting the cultures of the world on July 10th and 11th in Paris. As a part of this event, the international programme - Brave Kids, which is a manifestation of the educational activity of the Wrocław-based Association, will be presented at the UNESCO headquarters.
The event, under the banner of “Song of the Goat Theatre – artistic and social projects”, is held under the honorary patronage of Anna Komorowska, the Spouse of the President of Poland and the patronage of UNESCO. It is also supported by the City of Wrocław, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as well as the Permanent Delegation of Poland to UNESCO.

Event description:
From the outset, Song of the Goat Theatre has maintained the belief that theater is not confined solely to what is created on stage. Alongside the development of their theatrical work, the company has initiated various projects with strong social components. Each project is founded on the power of meeting, openness and compassion between people. Not only is Song of the Goat respected internationally for their theatre but also as founders of a non-governmental organization, the Song of the Goat Association. Following the desire to research, support and promote the cultural heritage of marginalised communities they have their most notable outcome through their charitable and social endeavours.
Their work will be presented on July 10 and 11, at the UNESCO House in Paris under the name “Song of the Goat Theatre – artistic and social projects”. The first day of the event will include a performance by more than one hundred children from around the world, the result of this year’s “Brave Kids” educational programme. The performance will be preceded by a presentation about the Association, which will also include the history and objectives of “Brave Festival”. On the second day, there will be the Brave Kids Seminar dedicated to non- formal education through the arts.
PROGRAMME:
July 10th Brave Kids Performance - innocent vitality and energy: dance, circus, music and theatre. Over one hundred children from around the world will show the result of thier work during this year's Brave Kids educationl programme.
July 11th - Brave Kids Seminar – a space of exchanging experiences in the field of non-formal education through art. Among other, Akong Tulku, the founder of the international organization ROKPA INTERNATIONAL, will take part in the meeting.
